Ceramic Sculpture

Join in the experience of expressing yourself through clay. Discover the stress relieving qualities this tactile medium has on your well being. Students will explore a variety of clay bodies including, porcelain, stoneware and earthenware, using techniques such as slab and coil construction and pinching and throwing on a potter's wheel. Along with clay building, students are encouraged to experiment with exciting glaze combinations on both functional and sculptural pieces. Students' individual needs and experience level will be met in this class, beginners to advanced.
