The magic begins when you mix clay, the imagination and the inspiring art of Ancient Civilizations. This 'mini museum' approach will introduce fun and fascinating facts of pottery-making from the ancient world, while featuring creative hand-building techniques and wheel throwing. Here's your chance to mix the wonders of modern clay-making with the world of the ancient artist.

Family Clay Workshop (JK-Gr. 6 with adults)

Diane Hamilton

This class is for moms, dads, sons, daughters or grandparents who want to spend some quality time together, while having fun with clay. Designed for children to attend with adults, this program encourages everyone to work at their own level and utilizes a variety of hand-building techniques. Students may also try throwing on a potter's wheel. Everyone participates and makes their own clay creation. Prices quoted are per person.

Sink your hands into the magnificent muck of your imagination and pull out fun and functional creations. Learn a variety of hand-building techniques: slab, coil, pinch and modeling and try throwing on a potter's wheel. Decorate your work using bright, colourful glazes.
