ARAS Young Drama Company (Gr. 5-9)

This is a year-long intensive class for students who are serious
about learning the skills required to perform in theatre and
have a desire to be part of a theatre company. From improvisation,
scene and monologue work, to voice and movement for the actor,
as well as character development and explorations of European
physical theatre styles, young actors will develop both their
unique voice, as well as the ability to create in an ensemble
setting. Designed in a professional, company setting, the cast
will rehearse and work on two shows over the course of the year
and will perform (February and June) at a professional theatre
venue before an audience.

ARAS Musical Theatre Company Junior (Gr. 4-7)

Are you Broadway Bound? This intensive musical theatre program
is designed to provide stage-minded kids with an opportunity
to develop their skills. Singing, vocal technique, dance and
movement, improvisation and character skills are all honed in
a semi-professional environment, with like-minded kids. This
is a year-long program with the cast working on one musical revue
and one full-length musical during the academic year. Shows will
be performed at a professional theatre venue before an audience.

This is a class for students who are serious about learning
the skills required to perform in musical theatre. Singing, voice
work, choreography, movement, improvisation and character development
will be incorporated in this performance-based class. This is
a year-long program, designed in a professional, company setting,
with the cast working on one musical revue and one full-length
musical during the academic year. Shows will be performed at
a professional theatre venue before an audience.
Thursday 5:00-7:30 pm
