Acrylic Palette: Creating Dynamic Artworks from Start to Finish

Outline

Acrylic paints are one of the most versatile painterly mediums. Through its non-toxic nature, fast drying application and vibrant pigments, acrylic paint allows an artist to convey any subject matter while employing different types of techniques and application processes. Whether you are a beginner or returning to acrylic painting, in this virtual course you will learn the basics of colour theory, the study of light and shadow, composition, visual perspective, brush work, paint handling and paint application. You will start to look at things in detail and with a critical eye, exploring various ways in which you can depict what you see and feel. Over the span of the course, varied subject matter will be explored, using photo reference and still-life. With plenty of demonstrations and individual attention, you can work at your own pace while receiving positive and supportive feedback in growing and nurturing your acrylic painting practice.
