This is for the artist who wishes to expand their knowledge and artistic vocabulary of drawing what they see, feel and think through drawing and painting. While taking art fundamentals and practices, each week students will engage with new processes and elements to channel their inner creativity into thoughtful and expressive compositions. Exploring various subject matter and artistic materials, students will gain an understanding of how to use tools and pigments to create visual and emotional effects in art making. While learning from artists throughout history, the world around us, as well as exploring new and creative methods, students will be guided through prompted projects, receive one to one tuition with the instructor as well as learn from their peers in the art of creating through in-person learning in a creative environment.
