Painting the Interior Scene is a six-week virtual art class that invites you to embark on a captivating journey through the artistic soul of interior spaces. Turning our sight into the interior scene, this course will explore the interplay of colours, light, pattern, texture and emotion within the walls of a room.
Using the versatile medium of acrylic paints, students will explore the boundless possibilities of capturing the essence of indoor scenes. Each week, the class will delve deeper into the fascinating world of interior artistry in exploring line, scale, perspective, colour, lighting qualities and mark making techniques.
Join Martha Johnson where you will be immersed in an array of thought-provoking discussion, visual and historical references and exposed to a wide range of artists that depict the interior scene in bringing forth your creative vision.
