Monster Making Sculpture (Ages 5 – 12)

Outline

In this hands-on workshop, young artists will unleash their imagination and dive into the enchanting world of three-dimensional art. Using plaster bandages as their magical medium, they'll transform their ideas into tangible monsters that leap off the page.

Throughout this workshop, young creators will be guided in the art of sculpting, showing them how to mould and shape their monsters into spooky forms. From big-eyed creatures to mischievous goblins, each sculpture will be a unique and expressive creation.

Once the sculptures are complete, young artists will breathe life into their monsters, adding vibrant colours and whimsical details to make them truly their own. From ghoulish greens to fiery reds, the possibilities are endless as they embrace the spirit of Halloween.

For this in-person course, Avenue Road Arts School will provide all necessary materials for all student projects.

Avenue Road Arts School works in compliance with COVID-19 health and safety requirements. Although masks are not mandated at this time, we strongly encourage students to wear a mask in situations where social distancing becomes not possible.
