Inspiration is truly limitless when we turn to nature. In this 10 week course, students will examine line, colour, pattern, texture, form and shape through mixed media creations. While being introduced to different types of media including drawing, painting, sculpture and collage, the principles of art making will be exercised in creating unique and thoughtful pieces. While drawing inspiration from the natural world and elements, students will gain knowledge in foundational and experimental art practices through guided demonstrations and projects along with individual development from the instructor.
