Sadko Hadzihasanovic is a prolific mixed-media artist and MFA graduate from the University of Belgrade who has participated in over sixty Canadian exhibitions since arriving from Bosnia in 1993. A recipient of prestigious grants from the Canada Council for the Arts, his portraiture-based work uniquely blends social identity with playful, subversive references to popular culture.
