Mindfulness Painting: Meditative Art Practices
This course is dedicated to cultivating painting as a meditative practice. Designed for those seeking a process-oriented experience to unwind and connect with your inner self, the enjoyment of creating and the sense of practice is at the centre of the course. You will investigate techniques that encourage present-moment awareness, allowing your visual vocabulary to emerge from a place of intuition rather than striving for a fixed outcome. This is a dedicated space to refine your ability to slow down, explore paint, colour and gesture playfully, while building an inner resource through the therapeutic act of art. Open to all experience levels, we invite you to embrace the rhythm of the brush and the texture of the materials as a way to unwind and establish a consistent, calming creative routine.
- Cultivate a consistent, mindful art practice that serves as a counterbalance to daily stress.
- Develop a process-oriented approach to painting, emphasizing curiosity, experimentation, and play over final results.
