In this highly engaging nine-week course, young artists (Grades 5-10) are invited to explore a significant range of materials and ambitious projects. This studio environment moves past rigid constraints, instead emphasizing the freedom to experiment and discover the media you love most. You might construct a detailed still-life drawing one week, and develop a dynamic composition through three-dimensional mixed media sculpture the next. The curriculum provides solid fundamentals across drawing, painting, and sculpting, while drawing inspiration from global artistic traditions and contemporary artists. The central goal is to build skills, boost creative confidence, and empower each artist to refine a personal style that is genuinely their own.
