In this welcoming virtual class, you’ll build a strong foundation in painting from the ground up. Open to all skill levels, we’ll start with the fun of colour theory and mixing, then explore how to create light, shadow, and texture with confident brushwork. Through insightful demonstrations and hands-on practice with instructor Jennifer Hinrichs, you’ll work from photo references and guided exercises to tackle a range of subjects at your own pace. With personalized feedback and supportive critiques, you’ll develop the skills to create dynamic, expressive artwork that truly resonates.

Paints: If buying new paints, it’s best not to get student quality acrylics. Golden, Liquitex, Winsor and Newton heavy body artist quality paints work well. Otherwise, just use what you already have
