Join Jessica Rysyk, an accomplished sculpture and installation artist, in this two-day mould-making and casting workshop where you’ll learn the art and technique of creating sculptures from start to finish. Jessica brings her expertise in both conceptual art and commercial design to guide students through a comprehensive, hands-on experience using specialized materials that are chemical- and odour-free compounds in creating.

In this workshop, students will explore the process of mould-making, from conceptualizing the piece and designing the mould to casting in resin. Students will gain a practical understanding of the properties and uses of different materials while learning how to create moulds that capture fine details. On the second day, you’ll have the opportunity to paint and finish your castings, adding your own personal touch to the final pieces.
