Studio to Exhibition: Nuit Blanche Artist Intensive
Ready to move from studio practice to public exhibition? This artist intensive is your opportunity to develop a body of work for Nuit Blanche Toronto 2025, guided by Avenue Road Arts School’s Creative Director, Evan Faith Hutchinson. With personalized mentorship, peer dialogue, and professional development, this experience supports your journey from concept to exhibition-ready art.
This summer, join a select group of artists and creatives committed to deepening their independent practice and preparing work for Nuit Blanche Toronto 2025. The Translating the City: Nuit Blanche Independent Studio Intensive is designed for those who want to move beyond routine studio work, offering a rare chance to develop a meaningful body of work with the close mentorship of Avenue Road Arts School’s Creative Director, Evan Faith Hutchinson.
This intensive is not a traditional class, but a tailored mentorship experience. Before the course begins, you’ll meet one-on-one with Evan to share your artistic goals, discuss your chosen medium-be it drawing, painting, collage, photography, or beyond-and map out a path to developing a cohesive body of work inspired by the Nuit Blanche 2025 theme, Translating the City. With limited enrollment, each artist receives dedicated attention, ongoing feedback, and the space to experiment, refine, and push boundaries.
Across four in-studio sessions, you’ll work alongside a small cohort of peers, engaging in rich discussions, hands-on demonstrations, and lectures-including insights from a special guest speaker. Two private Zoom check-ins, held mid-way and at the end of the course, ensure your work is evolving and exhibition-ready. This is a rare opportunity to move from concept to creation in a supportive, professional studio environment, culminating in the chance to showcase your work at one of the world’s most celebrated contemporary art events.
