Portfolio Development: Visual Arts Preparation (Grades 6-11)
This intensive, in-person short course with Anita Fowl is structured to meet the high standards of visual arts admissions while remaining open to all lovers of art seeking to refine their practice. The curriculum’s core purpose is to guide students through the process of creating and preparing a professional body of work for submission. We will analyze the specific requirements of specialized programs and strategically develop new pieces alongside existing work to showcase technical range, conceptual depth, and a clear personal style. This course ensures you are prepared, focusing on the crucial elements of creating in a variety of media, showcasing working from a multiple subject matter, all empowering you to effectively communicate your artistic vision for admissions and beyond.
