Young artists will dive into the exciting world of cityscapes and urban design in this hands-on camp! Campers will explore how art transforms the spaces around us through projects inspired by architecture, 3D modeling, and design. They’ll create imaginative buildings, vibrant paintings, and playful sculptures while learning about how cities are shaped by creativity. Through fun activities like crafting 3D city models and experimenting with bold colours and textures, campers will discover how to capture the essence of a city—its energy, people, and stories—not just through buildings but through art that interacts with its surroundings. Young creators will learn how their designs can inspire connection and bring their artistic visions to life in exciting ways.

Take your creativity to new heights in Art in the City: Beyond the Canvas with professional muralist, Frannie Potts! This camp invites teens to explore the dynamic world of urban art while learning about key historical and contemporary figures like Banksy, Keith Haring, and Jean-Michel Basquiat and more, who transformed public spaces into powerful canvases for self-expression and social commentary. Campers will dive into techniques such as mural creation, graffiti-inspired designs, and installation concepts while exploring artistic movements that embrace street art’s bold and rebellious spirit. Through hands-on projects, students will develop their own unique style and discover how art can inspire change and spark dialogue in the world around them.
